Hardscape and mulch

Added 13 blocks to the new front raised bed next to the path to stop the soil washing on the path. Added 4 bags of mulch to the bed.

Planting

I added 12 stones to the raised bed in the Gumball Border Garden and planted a Magnolia macrophylla x ashei. I potted up Alocasia Zulu Mask for the winter and planted Centratherum punctatum in the Berm and Thai Cilantro in the courtyard.

Planting and transplanting

Planted Pinky Winky Hydrangea in the Around The Pool garden where the Wyoming Dwarf Cannas were - transplanted those to the right side. Planted 5 more Wintergreen Boxwoods by the Turret and Sunny Foster Holly in the Five Trees Garden. Planted Aquinas Pink Bottlebrush and Clerodendrum ugandense in the Big Trees and Birds garden and potted up the Lavender Chiffon Hibiscus which the rabbits and deer had decimated.

Planting and transplanting

I planted Jazzy Graphics, Marked By Lydia, Moonstruck Madness, Taco Twister and Fellow Daylilies in the Daylily Fountain Garden. I moved 2 Pandoras Box to the Around The Pool garden and dug out 2 fake Stellas. I moved a real Stella to the Around The Pool Garden and a Happy Returns. I moved Pow Wow Coneflower to the Pool Lawn Border. I moved Heath Aster to the Pool Lawn Border because rabbits were eating it. I moved Oddity, Jade Rose, Limelight, Minus, Lime Zinger, Chocolate Ball and Silver Stone sedums and sempervivums to the new raised bed in the Camellias And More garden and planted Red Rubin there too.

Insecticide and deadheading

Sprayed Sevin on the Coral Bean, River Birch, Cherry Dazzle, Blue Ice and Blue Star Amsonias and the Prunus. Deadheaded.

Mow and edge

Mowed and edged all lawns.

Weeding and pruning

I pruned the Loropetalums in the front island and weeded the front gardens.

Planting

I planted Lemon Phygelius in the Octagonal Perennial Garden and Veriegated Acorus in the Ornamental Grasses Border and Echinacea purpurea in the Pool Lawn Border.

Herbicide

Sprayed the Bermuda growing in the Centipede with Vantage, the BErmuda lawn with weed-be-gone and the weeds with RoundUp.
