Perennial bed

Added another bag of compost and one of top soil to the perennial bed, forked it in a little and topped with 8 bags of mulch.

Propagation

I potted up the rooted cuttings of Papyrus and Panama Red Hibiscus that were in water, and a cutting of Iochroma in sand. Also potted up a new Marlberry - Miho no matsu. I bought a Green's Blues Camellia which had two separate stems in the pot so I gently teased the roots of them apart and potted them up separately.

Perennial bed

Cleaned up the perennial bed, removing dead wood and adding compost.

Mulch

Spread 5 1/2 bales of pine straw to finish the Camellias And More garden.

Pruning

Limbed up and took out suckers for the Buddleja lindleyana.

Mulch

Spread one more bale of pinestraw in the Abelias And More garden, 1 1/2 bales in the In Between Garden and 2 in the Big Trees and Birds garden.

5 bales of pinestraw spread in the Inbetween Garden and 2 in the Camellias And More garden.

Herbicide

2 gallons of Roundup in the Camellias and More, Almost Shade Garden, Big Trees and Birds garden and Inbetween Garden.

Planting

I planted the Fiesta Forsythia in the Inbetween Garden and hand-weeded parts of that space. I planted the Diervilla Cool Splash and Mahonia repens in the Big Trees and Birds garden and spread 2 bales of pinestraw there. Also planted 3 more Ajuga Catlin's Giant and 5 Dianthus Firestar in the Hide The Hydrant garden along with a Carissa Holly. I dug up and potted up 2 more Lantana from that bed. I potted up the 2 remaining Ajuga for the winter.

Potting up

Potted up the Diervilla, Mahonia repens, Fiesta Forsythia and Ephedra regeliana that I got from Rare Find. Also dug up and potted up the Sago Palm, and moved the Araucarioides Cedar to a bigger pot. Dug up the White Chiffon Rose of Sharon which is having some rotting issues. Also put out the remaining tags.
