Mulch

I pinestrawed the rest of the golf course hedge, the berm and most of the Abelia bed - 5 bales.

Mulch

I spread 3 bales of pinestraw inside the pool fence and along the golf course hedge. I cut back the remaining big hibiscus.

Mulch and Herbicide

I sprayed 1 gallon of roundup inside the pool fence and around the berm. I spread 2 bales of pinestraw inside the pool fence and cut back 2 hibiscus.

Deadheaded Cannas

I cut the Cannas to the ground for winter. Also cut back some Gaura.

Winter

Dug up the Bird of Paradise and Russellia for winter. Also Cavendish Bananas.

Herbicide

1 gallon of Roundup in front. Mulched the front and some of the right side.

Planting and potting up

I planted the new Hatsushimo Hibiscus in the Abelias bed, the Tor Spirea by the back garden path and potted up 2 Ardisias, Hakuokan and Amanogawa. I also potted up a cutting of Tibouchina that Betty gave me and an Osmanthus that Nurseries Caroliniana gave me.

Planting

Planted the Eupatorium fern-like leaf, the variegated Kerria, Fred's Upright Boxwood and potted up the Thujopsis to go in a pot by the front hose bib.

Winter

Potted up the Cape Honeysuckle and Mandevilla for winter. Also tried to pot up the Panama Red Hibiscus - we'll see.
