Built the golf course border wall.

I removed the last of the silt fence which I started last Saturday and used wheat straw to cover the drainage flume I created on the left side.

Removed the rest of the back left silt fence.

Created larger beds in the pool area for the tiers by extending the tiers.

We finally got the fence in the ground this morning after building it on the 14th and 15th, digging the holes on the 16th and putting the first section in on the 17th.

I put drainage gravel around the daylilies in the flume and then pinestrawed the whole area.

On Tuesday August 16th. started the process of dismantling the garage path and replacing the mulch on the bed on the side of the garage with the cypress mulch from the path.

On Wednesday, put in place stones around the garage side bed and raked all the cypress mulch into piles. Finished mulching the garage side bed.

On Thursday I sprayed with 1 gallon of RoundUp and starting moving the stones to the flume.

On Friday I covered with pinestraw.

Hardcape

I created a new tropicals raised bed using landscape timbers, 14lbs pearlite, 5 bags of compostost, and top soil.

Hardscaping and planting

Dug out 2 sections of silt fence behind the Chinaberry and created a small trench for the water to flow in. Planted one bucket of Cannas from the right pool corner along the edge.

Spread cypress mulch on the path behind the garage. Set up stones along the curb on both sides of the drive.

Edged the curb at the bottom of the driveway with rocks on both sides. Put wood chips on the garage path. Reset the edging along the golf course where the sprinkler head went in.

Moved the bird feeder to the other side of the path.

Put landscape timbers along the edge from the Bald Cypress to the Oleander and dug them in. Levelled the bird bath and the bird feeder post.

Put up the post for the second blue bird house.

Put up the post for the Wisteria to grow up along the golf course edge.

Edging and mulch

Finally finished the fourth edge on the croquet lawn. Got the wood edging in place and a brick insert for moving the mower. Mulched the area between the lawn and the perennial bed with 3 bales of pinestraw and a 4th bale for the Abelia area.

Worked on the wood and stone edging for the conservatory path replacing the pavers which I am using to extend the paver path.

Worked on the pavers by the conservatory to extend them beyond the fence.

Hardscape - pool lawn edge

Cut and cleaned the pool end and some of the fence side. Mulched the new areas.
